Woman officer gets top job on Women's Day

International Women’s Day took on a whole new meaning for Lata Donde, who was appointed senior woman police inspector of Shahu Nagar police station, Mahim (E), on Sunday. Following the Home Department’s order of recruiting women in senior positions, Donde became the first woman to head Shahu Nagar police station in nine years.
