Mumbai: After enthralling Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor with his performance, R&B singing sensation Akon has now decided dish out a chartbuster for charity. Akon will team up with music composer Aadesh Shrivastava to record a song - Let’s Come Together - to be released worldwide; proceeds of which will go the Mumbai Police Relief Fund.
Akon, who met Aadesh to finalise plans for the song, is currently in Mumbai to record for the SRK, Kareena starrer Ra 1. “It will be a single for which we have teamed up. We are planning to work on many things in the future. The possibility of a future project with Akon can’t be rules out,” Aadesh told “I have known Akon for a long time. Our song - Let’s Come Together - has a beautiful message as it calls for world peace at a time when everything has been ripped apart by terrorism and politics of hate.”
