Civic body is all set to hire the inimitable RJ to ask Mumbaikars to save water

After Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, it will be popular radio commentator Amin Sayani's immortal voice appealing to Mumbaikars to save water. The BMC, which is on a warpath for saving water, is all set to approach Sayani for an audio commercial, which will be aired across radio channels.

"We are in the process of having an audio campaign. Since Sayani is a well known RJ and known for his strong baritone, we are considering his name. We have not approached him yet, but plan to. He has the perfect voice to spread awareness about the water crisis. These days' people listen to radio as much as they watch TV. The commercial will be aired across radio channels," confirmed a BMC official.
