MUMBAI: Two college drop-outs, both residents of Khar (W), were nabbed by the police for eve-teasing morning-walkers on Carter Road on Friday. The duo had partied till early hours on Friday, and were dancing on the road to the loud music from their parked car’s stereo, a Khar police official said.
Investigators conducted a medical test and found them under the influence of alcohol. “We have charged them for drunk driving and for misbehaving with girls,’’ said senior inspector of Khar police station Mangesh Pote. According to a senior Khar police official, the youths were passing lewd comments on some girls, when a few senior citizens approached them and requested them to go home. But the youngsters abused them.
“A group of girls, who too came for walking, joined in to support the senior citizens. They approached the nearby police patrol party after which the youths fled.
